Meet Dr. Liudmila Labrada
Dr. Labrada, a Cuban native, is a dedicated dentist to her family and practice. At the age of 17 her family decided to travel to the United States in search of freedom and a better future. She always knew she was going to be a dentist. Her first goal was to become a student at Miami-Dade College. She graduated with honors and received a full Scholarship to the University of Florida where she obtained a degree in Bachelor of Science.
She attended the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts, where she received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in the year 2000, graduating as one of the top in her class. She had the opportunity to gain more clinical experience at The Veterans Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital during an externship in the local Miami area. At Jackson Memorial Hospital she learned more about oral and maxillofacial surgeries, implant placements, facial reconstruction and restoratives. After years of hard work as an Associate, she opened her private practice in 2004. The practice is dedicated to general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Labrada keeps herself updated with the most advanced methods and the latest technologies in the dental field. She continuously takes intensive post-graduate credits with the Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies (LVI Global), Lumineers by Cerinate, Implant Educators and the American Dental Association. Dr. Labrada enjoys traveling, working out, spending time with her family, and expanding her fascination with dentistry. Dr. Labrada is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), Florida Dental Association (FDA), South Florida Dental Association (SFDDA), University of Florida Alumni Association (UF Alumni), Boston University Alumni Association (UB Alumni), National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Network, BNI Excellence and Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
